"Fabulous trip! I will never again think of Belize as a sleepy little island of resorts. My trip with Kindred Women Travelers showed me it is an island full of history, in addition to its pristine beaches, fine food and art. Maryann put us on a trip to the jungle. Although the monkeys were resting, laying down high in the trees in the rain forest, we saw tiger foot prints and learned about other animals who live there. With snorkeling and an immersive visit to an island where the Garifuna culture is alive and accessible, Belize is a wonder. Its Mayan chocolate is fabulous, its food extraordinary, its people warm and gracious. The trip was so well organized, we were able to enjoy all of the best of the island. The villa where we stayed was beautiful and spacious, the private pool a luxury, and the chef a delight. And with most of the lunches and dinners included, the price was spot on. I cannot wait to book another trip with Maryann and Kindred Women Travelers."
