Thursday, May 28th
While in Athens, visiting the Acropolis is a must. We'll start the day with the Acropolis Museum before going on a guided tour of the Acropolis itself. The museum was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. We'll have lunch at their restaurant and have plenty of time to explore this amazing museum. At
5pm, after the heat of the day has passed, we'll have a 2-hr walking tour of Acropolis itself and maybe even catch a sunset.

Wednesday, May 27th
We will undoubtedly be a bit jetlagged today so we'll get a slow start to the day, perhaps even relaxing by the pool before heading out. We'll then venture into the city to explore Athens. Later in the afternoon, we'll have a private 2-hour walking tour to learn about the daily lives and untold stories of ancient Greek women. Dinner will be close by at a restaurant with authentic Greek music.

A 45 minute flight brings us to Mykonos, an island in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea. Iconic landmarks include a row of 16th century windmills which sit on a hill above Mykonos town. Our home on this lovely island is a 7 bedroom, 7 bath home where we will spend the next three nights. Click here to see more pictures of the house. After settling in, we'll head out to a vineyard tour and wine tasting offering typical Mykonos appetizers and live traditional music.

Today we will be picked up at the house for a 4-hour private tour of Mykonos. We'll visit a monastery, listen to fascinating stories, and find the hidden gems we would never discover on our own. The tour is tailored to our interests, whether we want the lively hotspots or the peaceful, authentic side of the island; archaeological sites or beaches and best views on the island.

Sunday, May 31st
We're in for a treat today as we cruise to the island of Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient ruins. The cruise is limited to just 15 people so we won't be in a massive crowd. We will first pass by and stop for a swim or snorkel in the turquoise waters of the beautiful island of Rhenia. Lunch will be served on the boat. This is a 6-hour excursion.
