Accommodations in the Azores
We aim to provide a unique travel experience that brings together women with similar values, in an atmosphere of openness and respect. To get a sense of living in the Azores, we will be staying in local homes where we can relax, be ourselves and get to know each other. We will have two "homes" during this trip.
The first one is on the southern coast of Sao Miguel Island in Sao Rogue. This is a 2-level, 6 bedroom, 2 bath home, with fantastic ocean views! It is a typical Azorean home which gives us the opportunity to live like the locals. The house is a 3-5 minute walk to the beach and local swimming hole, 30 minute walk (mostly along the beach) to the capital city of Ponta Delgada, with shops and restaurants very close by. (Note that the main floor is one flight up, which gives us the beautiful views.)
The second home is on Terceira Island, in Praia da Vitoria. This is a 6 bedroom, 7 bath home, located 5 minutes from the center of town! The bedrooms include 4 singles and 2 doubles.
