We have a beautiful house for our week in Curacao. It is part of a resort, which means we have full access to all of the resort's amenities: a private beach, restaurants, beach-bars, swimming pool, dive shop, club house etc. Naturally, we want to get out and explore the island, but it's nice to have these amenities as an option.
